Dr. Jessie Lubelski graduated from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Scotland. She spent several years as a Lead Veterinarian in general practice in the south of England before moving to Canada and working as an Emergency Veterinarian in several Ottawa hospitals.
To pursue her passion for surgery and to expand her existing knowledge base, Dr. Lubelski then completed a Small Animal Rotating Internship at the University of Guelph. She returned to Ottawa to become one of the very first members of Capital City Specialty & Emergency Animal Hospital as a Surgical Intern in 2023, and stayed on to become their first Surgical Resident.
Outside of work, Dr. Lubelski is an avid rugby supporter and baker. She is passionate about mentorship, mental health, and ensuring that every patient gets a kiss on the head during their stay. The rest of her time is devoted to keeping her husband and (spoiled) French Bulldog, Ellie, alive despite their best efforts.
