Dr. Elyse Perrault was born and raised in La Belle Province in Montreal.  After completing her undergraduate degree, she took a leap of faith and moved to Ottawa to work at an emergency veterinary clinic. She was quickly inspired by the level of compassion and care exhibited by her colleagues.  Dr. Perrault eventually graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2024 and is excited to be joining those same colleagues at Capital City Specialty and Emergency Animal Hospital as part of the first group of Rotating Interns.  This opportunity will allow her to expand on her professional interests, including critical care and client education, as well as acquire a broad base of knowledge across the many specialty services to enable improved patient care.  Outside of work, Dr. Perrault enjoys playing with her rambunctious 2 year old Shepherd Mix, Zola, traveling, exercising, snowboarding, and exploring the outdoors with family and friends.
