I am originally from Japan, where I spent most of my time in Osaka and Kyoto. My primary interest has always been in surgery. However, upon graduation, I chose to gain broad experience in veterinary practice during the first 5-6 years of my career. In 2021, I moved to Canada to pursue board certification from the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. During my Master’s program at the Ontario Veterinary College, my research focused on the clinical applications of 3D printing in small animal surgery. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym to build the stamina necessary for sustained work.
